中国五冶大厦是由“世界五百强公司”中国中冶集团开发。其建筑外形有韵律般的线条美，如起伏的旗帜；
标识的设计构思取材于建筑的外形，由九条曲线构成了一个优雅的面；
为什么用九条线？九在中国传统文化中为吉数，亦为极数；
且九条线的设计，从标识上方和下方往上数四条线后都为第五条线，”五”在线与面的中央，点睛“五冶”中的“五”；
“九”，“五”俱在，即为尊。
综上所述，为标识设计的由来与寓意。

China mcc5 building is developed by China metallurgical group of the world's top 500 companies. Its architectural form has a beautiful rhythm of lines, such as a waving flag,and its logo design is based on the shape of the building, which is composed of nine curves. Why nine lines? Because nine for auspicious number in Chinese traditional culture, is also for the pole, and its design from the logo above and below the number up after four curve for the fifth line."Five" is in the central online, making the finishing point of "mcc5" .
