INTERNATIONAL POSTER CONTEST"TO DEATH WITH A SMILE" 2017-2018.

MUMEDI, the Mexican Museum of Design, represented by theMUMEDI Foundation, call designers, students, teachers,professionals and anyone interested in the subject, to participatein the International Poster Contest "To Death with a Smile"2017-2018, to promote the exercise of good design.

Rules and Process of Participation:

I. GENERAL DEION

PARTICIPANTS: Designers public in general or people withgraphic representation background and anyone interested from fromany nationality over 18 years of age.

SUBJECT MATTER:It is about death, a personal consideration orapproach, the meaning In your own culture, how we fear, celebrateor deal with it. It can be reflected in serious or playfulway.

TECHNIQUE: Freestyle but at the end it should be put into therequested electronic file format.

DIMENSIONS: 60 cm x 90 cm, vertical.

FORMAT: Digital Format .JPG with 300 dpi s in RGBcolors.

Registry Sheet: It is necessary to complete the registry sheetfor each poster you submit.

HOW TO SUBMIT MATERIALS:

Digital files must be send by WeTransfer.com toinfo@mumedi.org accompanied with the Registry Sheets A, B1 and B2,this document and a copy of oficial ID ( passport, license, etc.),the authorization for reproduction and commercialization, filledand signed.

VERY IMPORTANT: Remember that if you send you poster with outthe signed forms, your entry will be taken out of thecontest.

All exhibition visitors will vote during the first month fortheir favorite poster and the winner will get a special printedacknowledgment.

"TO DEATH WITH A SMILE" is a contest that presents itself asan exercise for good design, destined to stimulate creativity, sowe might see the diversity and language richness in differentcultures around the world, giving by every participant their ownspecial style.

EXHIBITION: A selection of the best 400 or 500 posters will beexhibit at MUMEDI, for a period of 3 to 4 months. And at thebiggining of 2018 the exhibit will travel to the museum of Lahti inFinland.
