这是由annabelkarimkassar architects设计的阿治曼酋长国新地标al zorah馆。该项目考虑到与场地景观共生的敏感性。该建筑是一个多功能中心，总建筑面积4500平方那个米，包括行政、文化和娱乐等功能。这是第一次将简单的几何形式屹立于沙漠之中，正如一个接一个的沙丘地形。该建筑设有一个折线型屋顶，让人联想到通往水源的现状地形层。屋顶朝南，全部裹以锌板，有助隔绝强烈阳光和附近高速公路的噪音。黑色有色玻璃立面则面向背面的树林，为室内提供无遮挡的自然景观。屋顶可以吸收日间的阳光，而在夜间则利用LED投影机点亮。该建筑布置了150席的室内礼堂、户外活动区、展厅、咖啡厅及露台、屋顶客房以及行政办公区。

designed with a sensitive approach to the site in symbiosis with the landscape, annabelkarimkassar architects (AKK) has constructed the ‘al zorah pavilion’ located in ajman, UAE. the structure is a 4.500 square meter multifunctional center dedicated to administration, culture and entertainment. it was first conceived as a simple geometric form standing in the desert acting as a topography that is inserted within another one.

the pavilion rests under a folded canopy reminiscent of the existing topographical layers that leads down to the water. facing south, the roof is all clad with zinc shingles protecting the pavilion from strong sunlight and simultaneously blocking the noise from the nearby highway. the dark tinted glass façade is oriented north towards the mangroves, providing transparency into the interior and unobstructed views to the natural landscape. the roof catches sunlight and shines by daytime. during the nighttime, LED projectors lit it up.

the construction houses an internal auditorium of 150 seats, the exterior for outdoor events, the exhibition space, the café with a terrace, the guest house at the roof top level and the administrative floor. spaces open up from under a folded crossed cut slab where the slope of the folded roof starts from the entrance and reaches up to the highest point of the structure through an open air staircase which leads to terraced belvedere spaces looking out to the sea.the ‘al zorah pavilion’ in ajman is the first project to be implemented on site as part of the city’s redevelopment and sets a high standard for the next to come.
