在当今社会,全世界各国字体设计交流伴随着媒体的发展,人们对信息接收量日益加
大,成就了各国文字字体设计碰撞更为激烈的大环境。传统字体设计如何在它国字体
设计影响下,扬长避短是文字设计发展很重要的部分。如何传承传统文字设计的优点,
结合新方法,新技法及结合它国文字设计优点进行融合再设计,就成为本次设计大赛
的主要目的。
中文与英文是世界上使用最为广泛的两种字体,本次大赛针对中文,英文字体设计。

【类别】
A)字体实验(Experimental Typography)
不限用字,使用字体不涉及字库版权问题,不限载体和表现形式。鼓励结合理论性的
字体实验作品,传统字体设计的现代表现形式。应用案例或尝试阶段中英文字体均可
以参加。可随作品附实验过程图,单个试验系列不得超过5 张。
B)字体设计应用(Communication)
字体是否能够充分表达出设计作品的精神和理念;以字体为主要表现形式的应用作品。
字体标志,平面广告(报纸、杂志平面印刷广告等)。包装类,食品包装、休闲娱乐
品包装、礼品包装、化妆品包装、时装包装、时尚配饰包装、家居产品包装、电子产
品包装、其它包装。杂志,商业杂志、消费类杂志、杂志封面、杂志章节、杂志副刊、
整份杂志。中英文字体应用作品都可以。作品提交的图像不得超过5 张。
C)字体海报(Typography Poster)
以文字为主的海报设计,以新艺术形式,必须是以文字设计为主的作品,鼓励参赛能
反映地域特色与中英文字体设计相结合的设计作品。主题不限。作品提交的图像不得
超过5 张。

【权利归属】
l 参赛作品的著作权归参赛者所有,大赛主办方有权对参赛作品进行收藏、展览、展示、

l 参赛者应保证大赛组委不会因使用参赛作品而产生任何版权或知识产权纠纷;如作品
发生知识产权或版权纠纷等,大赛组委将取消其参赛资格,并由参赛者承担后果。
【申报资格】
1. 任何从事或爱好字体设计的个人及学生、团体、机构均可申报。
2. 申报作品应为申报个人或机构的原创作品。如发现抄袭行为取消参赛资格。
3. 申报作品必须是2012 年之后的字体设计作品。
4. 作品文字说明简单明了(50 字-200 字),
5. 如因使用未授权字体产生的纠纷,主办方不负任何责任。

In today’s society, the communication of typography design between countries around
the worldgoes along with the development of media. The growing amount of information
received bypeople accomplished the formation of the over-all situation that the typography
design collision ofdifferent countries is more intense. How traditional typography design
enhance advantage andavoid disadvantage under the influence of other countries’
typography design is a very importantpart for the development of typography design. How
to inherit the advantages of the traditional typography design, combine with new methods,
new techniques and the typography design advantages of other countries to redesign has
become the main purpose of this design contest.
Chinese and English are the two most widely used typography in the world, this contest aims
tothe design of Chinese and English typography.

[Competition Categories]
A)Experimental Typography
The used words are unlimited and not involved in word stock copyright issues, any theme
and pattern is welcome. The experimental works combination of theoretical typography are
encouraged which is modern pattern with tradition design typography. The application case
or trial stage in English or Chinese all can participate in. The experimental procedure charts
can beattached with works, a single test series cannot be more than 5 piecesB)Communication
If the typography can fully express the spirit and philosophy of the design works, the
typography is used as main pattern of communication such as typography symbol, print ads
(print ads in newspaper, magazine etc.), packaging (food packaging, entertainment products
packaging, gift packaging, cosmetics packaging, fashion packaging, fashion accessories
packaging, household products packaging, electronics packaging, and other packaging),
and magazines (business magazines, consumer magazines, magazine covers, magazine
section, the magazine supplement, and the entire magazine). Both Chinese and English
typography are acceptable. The offered works should not more than 5 pieces.
C)Typography Poster
Typography-based poster design, with the form of new art. The works must be based on the
typography design to encourage to reflect regional characteristics and combine with Chinese
andEnglish typography design. The theme is unlimited. The offered works should not more
than 5 pieces

[Copyright]
1. The copyright of all the works belongs to the contestants, the contest organizers have the right
of collecting, exhibiting, displaying works and publishing collection and publicizing and reporting
on the related media, but must note the author’s name.
2. The contestants should ensure that there will be not copyright or intellectual property
rightdispute with contest committee because of the entries; if there is any dispute over copyright
or property right of works, contest committee will disqualify the contestant and the contestant will
take the consequences.
[Qualifications]
1. Any individual, student, group and organization that engaged or interested in typography
designcan apply for.
2.The applied works should be the original works of the applied individual or organization. If
the works are plagiarism, the contestant will be disqualified.
3. The applied works must be a typography design after 2012.
4. The description of works should be simple (50-200 words).
5. If there is any dispute as a result of the unauthorized use of typography design, the organizer
is not responsible
