A类银奖 Wohnheimplatzt Jan Robert Obst 德国 Poster for a competition by the german student union. The topic was to design a poster about living conditions of students in Germany. The motive shows a high-rise building of student flats expanding more and more because of less available and affordable flats for students in bigger german cities. It won the 2nd prize of the poster competition. A类铜奖 Matchsticks Forest Poster Series (a) & (b) Wesam Mazhar Haddad 美国 Inspiration: Suspension bridges, high-rise buildings, huge resorts. Undergoing rapidly development in Jordan; nevertheless, we still deforesting the green, consuming matchsticks and abuse it! What a Parallel Equation! Revelation comes across in any sort. It comes as a heartache consideration for the unstopping desertification in my homeland. Concept: One tree makes a million matchsticks; one matchstick burns a million trees. Substances: Worthless left over matchstick was the main afflatus in this work. Every single entity of a matchstick stands out as a unique character, a piece of art. It resembles a shape of a living being (Tree). Process: A composition out of matchsticks was a complicated project. Working with such fragile and sensitive elements was a huge challenge. Thousands of matchsticks used to accomplish these visuals. A small blow, unintended move could destroy days of working. 评审特别奖 Stadtlücken Exhibition Mark Julien Hahn , Jan Robert Obst , Franziska Doll 德国 This poster is part two of a series of three done for the first exhibition of the architecture collective "Stadtlücken" ("Stadtlücken" german for "city gaps") in Stuttgart (Germany). Taiwan old street and Chinese characters Managed by the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department, T·PARK is one of the most technologically advanced self-sustained sludge treatment facility of its kind in the world with power generation, desalination, educational and ecological facilities to showcase the benefits of the “Waste-to-Energy” approach in waste management. The aim of the festival is to collect and connect as many type fans as possible and turn them in to a professional community. The main goal of 2017 Typomania identity was to involve public in the process of creating it, and by that creating a buzz around the event. In the end we have got around seven thousand drawing to use in different promotional materials like posters, brochures, flyers, animated videos, and a lot of festival merchandise. As a result of this promo people have sent twice as many videos for the typographic video competition as in last year. KCA Award(高雄市廣告創意協會) Line of life Project Shogo Kishino 日本 The delicate balance of the ecosystems in many wetland areas of Japan was threatened, and storks became nearly extinct. Suntory, a leading beverage manufacturer in Japan, has been engaging in the ongoing Bird Conservation Activities to restore healthy ecosystems. One of the many environmental preservation initiatives that Suntory is engaged in today is Bird Conservation Activities. It started in 1973 and for over 40 years, the goal has been to restore healthy natural habitats for birds. As part of the activities, our project included an organized event for people and children in which they made and flew kites in the form of storks so that they could experience the importance of a healthy ecosystem. Noda City in Chiba, where this project took place, has been striving to breed, release and provide a habitat for endangered storks. In 2015, with the aid of Suntory’s Bird Conservation Fund, three storks were successfully released. Among all inhabitants of wetlands, storks are at the top of the ecosystem. They are a living symbol of nature and the environment. To further promote Bird Conservation Activities, Suntory held an event for children to experience firsthand a rich natural environment. Long ago, Japanese worshiped nature and the things around them. Kites were flown high in the sky offering prayers to spirits above. The long string represented the ties between people and their wishes to be passed on to the future. A kite on a long string is the symbol of our project, representing the close ties between life and nature and our wishes for the future of our children. And this symbol based on, spread the project. The once rich natural environment for birds in Japan is continually being threatened by the desire for a convenient lifestyle for people. Many birds have deserted the living environment where people now dwell. With this project, Suntory is providing a starting point to create awareness for people and children about the importance of passing down a rich natural environment to future generations. Suntory believes that when the birds return, we will have restored our rich natural environment. On the border of generation between the new and the old, clashes often arise between value and ideas thanks to ever-changing technology and rapid dissemination of information. We learn to think independently, refuse to blindly set foot on well-paved way and take up challenges with positive attitudes, especially when it comes to uncertainty. In spite of adversity, we are still able to turn it around and take it as the drive to move forward.
